I am simply looking for a good estimate in the percent increase of my auto insurance premium givin these circumstances. I am with allstate and I live in Louisiana. I have one speeding ticket that I got 2 years ago when I was on another policy. I just got a ticket the other day on my motorcycle for 67 in a 45. I would like to know what kind of a increase I can expect to see. Thank you very much for your help.
I recommend you this site where you can compare quotes so you can find the best option for you

I’m sort of new to the whole laws of driving thing and live in the state of Texas. I went to go get my registration renewed on my car today and asked for my insurance. When officers pull you over and run your plates, what is it that lets them know right away (without getting out of their vehicle) if I have insurance or not? Is it the vehicle registration?
It is random! They may not ask you next year. Also they might send you a letter in the mail asking you to come to the court house or where ever to show proof of insurance throughout the year at any given time randomly. The police officer in no way knows if you have insurance via running the plate. That is why you are asked for proof of insurance when they approach your vehicle.
1: If you do not show the proof, you get no tag.
2: If you get a letter to come show the proof and you don’t in a given time, your tag is suspended. In that case they officer would know you were suspended for not showing proof of insurance.
In that case, you could get off with the no insurance if you had insurance at the time of the traffic stop, however you would probably get a suspended tag ticket and you would probably be able to beat that without going to court if you had good reason for not making it to show proof in the first place.
All depends on the cop and if he had to pay for his donuts and coffee he had prior to pulling you over or not.
what is the absolute most shitty dirt cheap motorcycle insurance you can buy in the state of california?

I’m a single male under 25, and car insurance rates are really expensive, does anyone know of a company that provides the cheapest in that area?
There’s no "one size fits all" answer to that. It’s like asking, what brand of bra fits best? You need a custom answer, and you’re going to find it by calling a couple local, independent agents, and asking for a half dozen quotes.
what insurance company will still give someone a great insurance quote even though he is taking cymbalta?
AIG has really good rates on term insurance at the moment. I don’t think that the cymbalta would cause you to get surcharged, but it will most likely prevent you from getting preferred rates. In most states that I know of, suicide isn’t covered for the first two years of the policy (and is covered after that) so depression isn’t a huge risk, especially if it’s being treated. Call around, maybe talk to some brokers who write for numerous companies. Just call and ask if you’d be surcharged or table rated due to your medication, they should be able to find out quickly for you, then you can focus on getting quotes.
I am starting a small biz next month..(just me) and Im trying to find out about insurance that will cover ONLY if i break somthing in a costomers home..Not cover my home as well..
Thanks Alijandro
try your local insurance company . like your auto insurance and ask them if they insure business also ..
business insurance is not expensive and it covers you for several stuff including if you break something they range depending on the stuff that you do from 250.00 for 3 months or so
ask your insurance agent and check "shop" rates
Without notifying my gym, I wanted to let their insurance company know that they are putting gym members in jeopardy due to some of the conditions at the facility. The gym has ignored my requests to pay attention to the hazards and I want to let their insurance company know. How do I find out who their insurance company is? Again, I do not want to ask anyone at the gym. Thanks!
You can’t. It would violate the privacy laws. There is no database.
Believe me, insurance companies would be INNUNDATED with people trying to complain and "advise" with their unprofessional opinions, about the policyholders, and they wouldn’t investigate ANYWAY.
So either go to another gym, or call your local building code inspector and let THEM deal with it.
I pay for my geico car insurance every six months because I save some money instead of paying monthly.
Here is a thing I am going to out of US for 3 months and I do not need insure my car however I already paid for the 6 months.
Can I cancel my car insurance and get the rest of money back?
Do they have any freezing method for these situations?
If I cancel my car insurance, will they charge me some money?
How do they calculate this?
Need specific answer, Thanks.
Yes you can cancel your policy, by notifying them in writing. You do NOT get all the money back – there’s a short rate cancellation charge, AND a cancellation fee when allowed by the state. The short rate is about a month’s premium. The cancellation fee varies by state, but is typically $50.
Also, if you have 3 months with no insurance, you’ll be considered high risk when you get back, and you’ll pay A LOT more for your car insurance then.
I’d say, talk to your agent, but you ARE your own agent with Geico, and they’re not going to help you out. But if you have a LOAN on your car, your lender will have a fit if you cancel, and penalize you heavily – and might repo the car. And if you don’t, you’re probably better off dropping all but the bare minimum coverages, to keep the policy active.
How do I know if I have gap insurance by looking at my insurance policy? I have Travelers, if that helps.
It will be listed as "GAP Coverage" under additional coverages if you have applied for it when you started your policy.
