Whats the name of the company that offers automobile repair type insurance on automobiles under 150,000 miles? Ive seen the commercial a few times but can not remember.
Its a type of extended warranty.
Any insurer will offer you a comprehensive policy as that’s what you are talking about.

I have a 1953 Ford Customline, chopped. I currently have Mercury, but it is not for classic cars, so they will only pay ACV.
Hagerty is a good one. You can either contact an agent or go online to www.hagerty.com for a quote. They do have good rates but the best thing to do is check with an independent agency. They usually have a couple of different companies they work with for classic vehicle. Make sure that it is an agreed amount policy

looking for new auto insurance and some are much less than others but I was told by some that the low quotes are from low rated companies, so how do they define high rated from low rated?
There are several companies that rate the insurance companies. We go with A. M. Best’s ratings. The look various items that say how well the company is doing and how likely they are going to have the money to pay claims. A lower rated company does not have as much money, so in the event of a lot of losses they may not have the money to pay all the claims. Example of a major loss is Katrina. Some insurance companies went out of business due to all the money they had to pay.

My wife was involved in 3 small accidents, in the space of 14 months. Total damages amounted to approximately 5,000 dollars. The company has chosen not to renew her insurance. We live in Michigan, and we had been covered by State Farm. These were the first claims that we made in 14 years with the company. Is there an insurance company that would likely accept us as customers? Is there a specific company here in Michigan that you would suggest? We live up north, near West Branch. Thank you.
Well I don’t know if you have AAA Insurance there, but here on the west coast there great. I had farmers when my son got in a accident totaling 15,000 damages, there way of getting rid of you was to raise my rates to over $1000.00 a MONTH. So don’t try them. Search for insurance quotes online. My son has a off the wall company called western united and his rates are $80 a month now. So you may want to try a company that’s not popular to get better rates. Good Luck

My son who is in the military, insurance was cancelled inNC. But his car is registered in NC. He is stationed in Kansas, and has his car with him there. The Insurance company said that while he was stationed there he would have to move his insurance there. If it is still registered here and pays taxes on it here then why does he have to insure it there.
Because the insurance laws in KS differ from those in NC. NC requires coverages not required in KS, and vice versa. Any vehicle operated in KS more than 6 months out of the year is subject to it’s financial responsibilty laws, no exception for people in the military. Likewise, the rates in NC are based on risk in NC, whereas the risk in KS is completely different, as such so are the rates. It does NOT matter where the cars registered- the car is in KS, and is exposed to the risk present in KS. In my experience, it should be cheaper to insure there anyways- so why fight it?

We bought a car in Alabama, and had it insured. When we moved back to Mississippi and the other insurance had ended, we picked up coverage in Mississippi. My husband is now working in Alabama, but the car is still on our Mississippi policy. Will Alabama honor the Mississippi policy and coverage?
As long as hubby’s legal residence is still in MS, AL should honor it. If AL’s requirements (amount of insurance, etc.) are different, the MS policy will automatically adapt.
