Does Comprehensive vehicle insurance cover an accident due to hydroplaning (wet roads)?

I was just in a wreck where I was on the interstate in a bad rain storm and suddenly hydroplaned into a guard rail. I only have comprehensive insurance. I do not have collision. Since the accident is weather related will it cover it?

Your insurance carrier will likely claim that the loss was caused by a collision with a guardrail and not from weather related causes.
